  • I am so glad you got to spend some time with Erin last week. I so enjoy the times my daughter comes home -- they are just way too short, though.

I'm sorry I didn't get by here yesterday to remind you about Heart Beat Monday. My energy level just fizzles so quickly and I don't seem to get to do a fraction of what I want. But, I am praising God because He is at work -- healing my body and spirit.

This week for Heart Beat we are reflecting on the past year as we celebrate the one year anniversary of Heart Beat.  This week's issue of the magazine is a special one as we reflect back on the past year. Also, Dr. Deb discusses Autism in the Health & Well Being article.

So -- what has God done in your life this past year? How has Heart Beat made a difference in your life?

I hope you have a great day -- and a great week! I continue to pray for answers for you all -- praying that God will lead you to a doctor who is really on top of things.

  • Well, I am praying Psalms 55:17-18 and 22-23 for you.  I cannot imagine what kind of battle you have been fighting for so long, but I know it must have been a hard one.  I pray peace over you and your family today!

  • Hey there!  Our daughter is doing very well.  We are in her third year of intensive autism therapy and looking at the end --of that phase:)  I have been homeschooling her for the past two years and am thinking about putting her in school this next year-it is being bathed in prayer right now.  Sophie is amazing to me.  No matter the trials every day, no matter the miscommunications, no matter what-she is my little blessing and she is my favorite girl in the whole world.

    Have a wonderful day:)

    ~Shannon:)

  • The weather here is beautiful right now - spring is in the air!  Hope you have a good day!

  • It's very cold here too hun!

Gosh, wish I lived near you........

Praying God gives you the peace, strength, rest, energy you need to get through each day.....

  • That book from your last post sounds interesting- has it been helpful?  Of course, Psalms is always helpful to my soul.  Working with an easily irritated child is hard- (speaking from experience!)

  • RYC: I thought about getting a puzzle piece for Mitch...I think deep down I'm still a tiny bit in denial about his autism-I mean, I KNOW he has autism and it's forever, but if I put the puzzle piece on me, it's there forever too.  Maybe someday I'll be ready.
