Elisa Update
Dear Friends,
The last three weeks Elisa has been in the hospital. She has been taken off all those meds and we have been told she NEVER should have been on them. They did short term damage but no long term. She NOT be put back on them. The attacks are SEIZURES and the have started her again on seizure medication. She has a few more medical problems to be dealt with. She will come home in a few weeks. We have seen God working in all of this. We still no no services but we are working on it.
Thanks ,
Trina

Such wonderful news, Trina! Are you getting any rest? Are you eating properly?
what do you mean her attacks are seizures? i'm kinda confused from reading your posts. my son has autism and seizures and it was hard for me to figure out at first what was going on seizure wise. he was having night terrors and then one night he had an actual seizure that we saw. i then learned that he was in fact having seizures that were night terrors.
hey i added you to m yfriends list and my protected list.
hi sweetie. you have been on my mind. i will be praying
wow that is the same kind of seizue my son has seems to be common for kids in the autistic community. what anti seizure med is she on? my son takes trileptal. so far he's only ever had 2 seizures he cried out and then starting convulsings for anywhere from 10 minutes - an hour. he's only had 2 seizures like that he doesn't turn purple or blue so you wouldn't know he's not breathing, but he isn't at all. both times his oxygen level was way low. i always have to call 911 for oxygen they one time gave him 20 mg's of valuim rectually and he almost didn't come out of the seizure. it's soo scary he sleeps with me b/c both the seizureshe had were in his sleep.
Hi Trina, Praying and thinking about you!
(((((((((((((hug)))))))))
h cool i'm guessing she has drop attacks? have they thought that maybe she has a disorder other than autism that can cause you to have seizures?
This is so great, I'm SOOOO glad you persevered! God is so good and so great, to answer our prayers for Elisa like this!
Hi, still praying.
