Good Morning
It has been awhile since I was on here. Things ae changing her in the next few months and I am struggling dealing with them.
It is never easy being a parent and knowing the right thing to do for your children. I think being a parent is the most rewarding job but one of the hardest jobs around.
What do you think?

WQhat God Has Taught Me
I wriote this earlier this week and some of you got it by e-mail but I wanted all of my friends r=to see it,
I wanted to take this time to Thank all of you for your prayers for our family. Knowing that people are praying has really helped us,
IN the past two years God has been working in my life.Coming to church has been something that is precious to me once again--I think it was becoming a chore that I needed to do each week but now I go seeking what God has for me. I do cry a lot sometimes in church but that in part has to do with I am finally hearing the words to some of the songs and they can be so powerful. The biggest lesson that I have learned is I CAN NOT DO THIS IN MY STRENGTH BUT I NEED TO LEAN ON THE LORD. It took a long time to leard this but I think I have finally got it.
I have these verses on my friidge Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust has been and still is a big issue for me but I am learning just how much I need to hold on to and practice these verses. Man is going to fail us but God never will.
Sometimes people tell us all they can do is pray and that is worth more to us than you will know. Mike and I consider all of you our family and we are so grateful to have all of you in our lives.
We love you ,
Mike and Trina

Dear Friends,This last week has been a very diffcult one foe Elisa in the hospital. She is not doing as well there as she has in the past. Once this week she was put in restraint for an hour and a half and given medication to calm her another day she spent time in the quiet room. The search for staff still goes on but it does not look to promising right now. There has even been a request from the doctor to increase the hours of services.Mike and I go to a meeting with the doctor today and then afterwards see Elisa. Our visits with her latrly has not been good. Please pray as we are now seeing what other options there might be out there for us to explore. Our hearts are breaking right now and we appreciate your prayers.Love. Mike and Trina

The letter I wrote that was in the paper
Dear Editor,We are parents of a 20 year old daughter who has multiple disabilities the main one being Autism.I am writing this to inform you about how hard it has been for us to get the services we need to help her thrive in this world. Right now she merely exists. You hear about all the help that is out there but no one mentions that it is mainly for the younger children or that when they reach 21 they age out of the system. Our daughter has been hospitalized 7 times in a year and each one has been a nightmare. She has been turned down by several hospitals because of her disabilities and had to spend nights in Er’s waiting for a bed.She most recently was turned down because her IQ was too low. We feel some of the hospitals stays could have been avoided if the services she is legally entitled to was supplied. It has been a constant battle getting the needed services for her. At the time I am writing this she is in the hospital once again. There needs to be places in our county that could handle people like our daughter. At this time we are trying to receive funding for services and the provision of services that has been promise and by law she should be receiving..My husband works two jobs and we are not asking for a hand out just what our daughter is entitled to by law.People’s disabilities do not go away because they turn 21 so why should the services? Is there any families out there that has gone through this? It would be interesting to see how you dealt with this or how many of us are out there trying to fight the same fight. Thanks,Mike and Trina Anslow of Hatfield
