  • Good Evening

Elisa is still in the hospital and might be coming home sometime at the end of the month. We still do not have the services in the house and that will be a big problem if that happens. We need the help in the house to help maintain what they are doing in the hospital. We want to keep her out of the hospital because she is in a place that she can learn some bad things.

    Praying for all of you!

I found this on a friends site.

  • I messed up my site

I am bad at  the computer stuff. I chose a skin because of the butterflies and did not pay attentiuon to anything else. I am sorry about that. I see both my old one and my new one. What do you see?

  • Good Morning

We have not been able to see Elisa. She is always sleeping when
we go up and we can not go to her room. They wake her up but
she does not want to come out.
I am waiting for some test results back. I have been having really
    bad headaches everyday.
    Thanks for your prayers.

    Have a good day!

  • Dear Friends,

Last night I saw the doctor.  I need to go get a CT scan and x-rays of my head and neck because of how Elisa pulls my hair. I may have muscle damage. she gave me pain pills and muscle relaxers. I am not big on taking medication so I will only take them at night because they can cause me to be drowsy. I will also be having blood work on Monday.

Please pray they keep Elisa in a hospital until service sin the home are provided. These attacks will continue unless they find out how to stop them and what is causing them. I am working with a lawyer to keep her in a hospital so we have to see what happens.

    Thanks,
    Trina

Update   Elisa will be staying in the hospial for the next month.

  • Good Morning

Here is a song that has meant a lot to me.

    Bow The Knee

There are moments on our journey following the Lord
where God illumines every step we take
There are times when circumstances make perfect sense to us
as we try to understand each move He makes
    When the path grows dim
and our questions have no answers turn to him

    Chorus
    Bow the Knee
Trust the heart of your father
When the answer goes beyond what you can see
    Bow the Knee
    lift your eyes towards Heaven
and believe the One who holds eternity
and when you don't understand, the purpose of his plan
in the presence of the king Bow the Knee

    Verse 2
There are days when clouds surround us and the rain begins to fall
the cold and lonely winds wont cease to blow
And there seems to be no reason for the suffering we feel
We are tempted to believe God does not know
when the storms arise, don't forget we live by faith and not by sight

    Chorus
    Bow the Knee
Trust the heart of your father
When the answer goes beyond what you can see
    Bow the Knee
    lift your eyes towards Heaven
and believe the One who holds eternity
and when you don't understand, the purpose of his plan
in the presence of the king Bow the Knee

  • Elisa

    Dear Friends,

Elisa is back in the hospital. Things are not good. We appreciate your prayers.

    Love, Trina

  • Good Afternoon

Elisa is home but things are rough. We have a meeting next week. A lawyer will be attending to see what she can do to help.

    Have a great weekend!!!!

  • Update on Elisa

    Hello.

Elisa is still in the hospital and we continue to fight to get her the needed services by law she is entitled to. We hear so much about all the help there is out there for children with Autism but they fail to mention once they turn 21 they age out of the system and the services go away.

Right now Elisa is struggling. We are watching her fall deeper and deeper into isloation. Mike and I are both in counseling to make it through this in one piece and to keep our marriage strong--we are not going to let AUTISM destroy our marriage of 25 years!!!!!!

Our church has been so good to us.

    Have a good day.

    Love.

    Trina
