On monday Mike left his briefcase in the parking lot at work. In it was all his Greek New Testament Bibles and study guides. He has not seen it since. Mike is a gradated of the Seminary at our Church. He works on his Greek everyday and uses it to prepare some lessons he teaches in our group. He feels lost without it. We are looking around to see where the best place is to replace them. They Have really gotten expensive since he last got one.

Erin came home last night and will be leaving tomorrow. She is on Spring break. She spent most of it helping a teacher given test in an elementary school. She did not have to do it but thought it would be a good experience.

Mike has been sick most of last week. He was so nice to share it with me. Woke up feeling really terrible.

Today Mike and I go talk to our Pastor.  I am making cupcakes for his family and bringing small gifts to his  four children. They have been going through a lot with the health of their 10 year old son.

I have been getting Elisa to work on her crafts again. We are making welcome blocks to give people. Finding things to help keep her busy is so helpful.

We saw a new doctor Monday for Elisa.  We really liked him.  Our church is working on getting me a group of ladies to come in and help me with Elisa till we can get the in home services set up. A group of ladies might be coming in for a Bible study for me,

It has gotten cold here today again.   I have been reading in Psalms---Psalms 55:4-8 is how I am feeing right now.

I was surprise that all of you who answered my question knew something about autism.  The doctors in our area really know very little about this. It is a neurological disorder and one would think the best doctor to treat this would be a neurologist. Not here it falls to the psycharist--who does not know how to deal with autism. We have begun to write a letter to our local officals about the treatment of autism and the waiting list. We have written about our recent experiences in hope for better understanding of autism as well as treatment and funding. Some words may be misspelled.

I am feeling a little down.  We found out the other day that one of Elisa's doctors has things written in her chart that is making it hard for us to get services. We found out from another doctor this week.  The doctor was upset about this and has fought for us--he really likes Elisa.  The doctor who did this was the one who messed her up on the medication.  Sometimes I feel like I want to give up but I will not. 

There has been so much in the news lately on Autism. I have a question for you. 

Do you know what Autism is?    I have so many people asking me to explain to them what it is. I was wanting to take a survey to see how many on here knows.

About a month ago our pastor had a message on fasting. He said fasting does not just mean food. Because I do have a food issue I can not fast that way so I have chosen to do it with my time on the computer. So tomorrow when I want to come on here I am going to pray instead.
