  • Hello

This state really lacks compassion for people with disabilites over a certain age.  There is a huge waiting list of people needing some sort of placement.  It is way over   22 thousand.  Things need to change here. Might be time to start calling my elected officals

  • I want to thank you for your prayers for our son.  He is doing so well-God is so good!  I was wondering if you are in the process of adopting your little girl?  We may also be going thru DHS ourselves for another adoption.   Actually it would be for a brother / sister group.  Nothing is nailed down and are still in the praying phase.  I couldn't tell but thought you had a child or foster child with Autism that you are trying to adopt?  Am I far off base?  If you are trying to adopt and are runnin into red tape that would be so frustrating!  Kids in state care need homes let alone special needs kids.  I woud think if they found special families to take these special kids they would jump and move quickly.  Apparently not!  I do hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  • ryc:  Thanks for clairfying things for me.  Sometime if you'd like I'd love to know more about Elisa.  She sounds like a wonderful child with wonderful parents!

  • Hi Trina, I hope that youre doing well, it does seem that some things take forever in "the system" doesnt it!!!1 I can relate  some stuff last year that I went thru taught me that too

  • Hi Trina,  Praying for You, I know The Lord will make a way!

  • Oh, I love this background!!!  I can relate to dealing with government agencies -- and yes, there is definitely a problem with the wait time for most of them.

I am so sorry it is taking so long for you to get the test results back too.  I know I am anxious to hear the results so I can only imagine how hard it has been on all of you.

Don't forget that today is Heart Beat Monday.  The newest edition of the magazine is up and, as usual, there are some really awesome articles in the magazine.

Please know that I am here for you if you ever need anything.  I always count it a privilege to join you in prayer about things going on in your life and you are always welcome to e-mail or message me with "private" concerns that you might have.  I will continue to pray that you get the results back from the test and for wisdom and peace about how to help Elisa.

And always remember to keep pressing in to Him!

    Debbie
